| Luna made her debut in the ring at the NNC Championship show in April 2009, qualifying for Crufts 2010 at her first attempt.
Her 2009 show season continued with a win in Post Graduate at Bath under judge Ms. C. Russell-Smith who also awarded her the Reserve Challenge Certificate! At Southern Counties in June under judge Carol Stuckey, Luna was awarded her second Reserve CC. More Championship show wins followed and included a third Reserve CC at Midland Counties in October under judge June Parker. 2010 started on a high with Luna going Best in Show at the Newfoundland Club Open show under judge Steve Anderson and then she won her fourth Reserve CC at Crufts from a huge entry judged by Anne Springthorpe. In April, Luna was awarded her first CC at the Northern Newfoundland Club Championship show by international breed specialist judge Mr. Jim Bricknall from Canada and a second CC followed at the end of April, awarded by Jeff Luscott at the West of England Ladies' Kennel Society. At Blackpool on 27th June Luna became a Champion winning her third CC under Mr. Michael Quinney and a week later at Windsor added a fourth Challenge Certificate to her tally under breed specialist judge Delia Sarson. |
